1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Footprint.
By accessing or using Footprint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Footprint.
2. Definitions
“Footprint,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Footprint service.
“Service” means the Footprint website at playfootprint.com, the Footprint Discord Activity, and any related features, pages, software, or services we provide.
“Discord Activity” means the version of Footprint that runs inside Discord voice channels.
“You” means the person accessing or using the Service.
3. Eligibility
You may use Footprint only if you are at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required to use online services in your country.
If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms under the laws of your country, you may use Footprint only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You may not use Footprint if you are prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
4. Description of the Service
Footprint is a daily football guessing game. The Service may include daily puzzles, guesses, hints, statistics, leaderboards, Discord Activity features, and other game-related functionality.
We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features at any time.
5. Privacy
Your use of Footprint is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

6. Discord
The Footprint Discord Activity operates on Discord and may use Discord developer tools or APIs.
Footprint is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Discord unless expressly stated otherwise.
Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own terms, policies, and privacy practices. Your use of Footprint is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to replace, override, or conflict with Discord's terms, policies, or developer requirements. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Discord's applicable terms or policies, Discord's terms or policies will control to the extent required for your use of Discord or the Discord Activity.
7. User conduct
You agree not to:
- use Footprint for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purpose;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, our systems, Discord systems, or another user's data;
- use bots, scripts, automation, scraping, or other methods to abuse or manipulate the game, statistics, or leaderboards;
- reverse engineer, copy, or modify any part of the Service except where permitted by law;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- submit malicious code, spam, or harmful content; or
- use the Service in a way that violates Discord's terms, policies, or community guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate access to Footprint if we believe you have violated these Terms, harmed the Service, harmed other users, or created legal, security, or operational risk.
8. Game results and availability
Footprint is provided for entertainment purposes.
We try to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that:
- the Service will always be available;
- game data or statistics will always be accurate;
- puzzles will be error-free;
- progress will always be saved; or
- the Service will continue operating indefinitely.
We may reset, correct, delete, or modify game data, statistics, puzzles, or leaderboard information at any time, especially to fix bugs, address abuse, or maintain the game.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, game structure, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial entertainment unless we give you written permission otherwise.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
All third-party names, clubs, leagues, player names, trademarks, logos, or references that may appear in the Service belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, platforms, or content that we do not own or control.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Termination

- we are required to do so by law or platform policy;
- Discord requires or requests action related to the Discord Activity; or
- we decide to stop offering all or part of the Service.
You may stop using Footprint at any time.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, and security.
We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Footprint and its operators, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will be limited to the greater of:
- the amount you paid us to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim; or
- 100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. In those cases, liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
16. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Footprint and its operators, service providers, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:
- your use of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of applicable law;
- your violation of any third-party rights; or
- your misuse of Discord or the Discord Activity in connection with Footprint.
17. Governing law
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that gives you mandatory local rights, nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.
18. Informal dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@playfootprint.com and try to resolve the dispute informally.
We will also try to resolve disputes informally before taking formal action where reasonable.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by posting a notice in the Footprint interface before or when the changes take effect.
By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
20. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect. The invalid or unenforceable part will be interpreted to achieve its intended purpose as closely as legally possible.
21. No waiver
Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that part or any other part later.
